I know you said this, but I'm going to share my suggestion here, so that others can say what they think or even enhance my suggestion.

What do you folks consider of allowing the user of submitting a change request to a domain's rating?

It would be nice to see it support -https://eu.ixquick.com search engine, by the way.

I agree with you and I experienced the same problems. Also I can say that with TrafficLight installed video streaming was almost impossible. Like you, I uninstalled it.

    Thanks.

Let m suggest a killer feature for it.

A keyscrambler function for HTTPS sites just like Prevx Safe Online and Rapport. :)

Apparently installed successfully usingthe webinstaller but I am getting no handler showing handler on the upper left part of any web page...either using Opera or Firefox.

Not sure what is wrong with my installation. Anybody else having this issue?

I don't think such feature would fit in what TrafficLight is - HTTP scanner.

Yes, it does, the full installer, as mentioned by sg09.

But, what you're suggesting would go beyond what TrafficLight is - http and https scanner, and not a anti-keylogger technology.

And, would they ever add it, it would be part of a paid-for version, most likely. Or, they'd just add such protection to their AV/IS?

Thanks aigle, but no dice. I have installed it 4 times (3 times on top of itself) and still no show.

Looks like I am going to have to give up on this and hope that whatever the issue is it is gone by the time it goes 'prime time'.

    ;)

It may be nothing, but do you run both with private browsing? If so, that could be it.

If not, then I can only hope whatever is causing such behavior is solved.

    Hi m00nbl00d

Thanks for the thought but...no, I do not use Private Browsing at all on either. I will just have to be patient & hope. ;)

Just one more try... :D Have you checked Windows Event Viewer for any error message that could reveal what could be preventing TrafficLight from working?

It may be a long shot, but it may reveal something.

With this addon installed chrome 10 fails Block reflected XSS test in browserscope.org security test. Chrome passes this test after this extension is removed. Does this extension weaken chrome built in security?:doubt:

Yes, same problem for me - youtube videos simply won't play. Waiting until the video has fully downloaded to the disk doesn't help - they still won't play in the browser. Hopefully this will be addressed in the next beta as the software is promising. I like the slide-down toolbar in Firefox 4.

    Hi again m00nbl00d

Good thought. Have had a quick look but nothings stands out as linked. May try a fuller search or a reinstall and then immediate search thereafter.

    Cheers ;)

That's good to know, but can you be more specific? What browser do you use that also has TrafficLight installed? I only tried it in FireFox 4.0 and the videos wouldn't play, but I didn't check IE9 or Chrome since FF4 is my main Browser.

I'm using Chromium, and I tried the extension and ran that test. It passes Block reflected XSS test.

    -edit-

I did notice that at this page -http://www.browserscope.org/security/test TrafficLight toolbar doesn't appear.

    Does it appear in Chrome?

Toolbar doesn't appear in chrome too but chrome fails block reflected XSS test when this extension is installed. It fails even if the extension is disabled. I am using chrome 10 stable. May I know your chromium version number so that I can try this extension again with that build?
