Port 1723

    I'm running Win 7 and using ESET Security. All my ports are stealthed apart from 1723 which is showing as open. I do not use a VPN. Is there any way I can close/stealth this port or stop the related service from running?

    What keeps it open? There should be a window in Eset showing what is active

    There was never anything in the Network Connections window of ESET.

    Edit: I guess it was my router. Unchecking "Enable PPTP VPN service" closes the port.

    Sorry for bothering the fine denizens of the forum with my banal stupidity.
