Avast 6! Excellent as far as resource usage, and I feel it's as good as any (according to whose report you read), with it's detection - both virus and malware.

NOD was my choice for years - but I firmly believe they 'lost' it when they wandered away from v2.xxx concepts of light, fast, and little, if any, false positives. Now they are big and bloated, but of course, not as 'fat' as Norton/ Symantec! :p

Yeah I have not used Norton in a long time, but I hear its much more lightweight. Anyone here using Bluepoint Security?

    1. ESET Smart Security (AV+Firewall+Spamfilter) v. 4.2.64.12 (NOD32)
    2. Immunet Protect (Cloud Based AV) v. 3.0.0.18

Note, that the light-weight Immunet Protect does not conflict with other AV products. It is suitable as a supplement to other AV (second opinion).
