I had them for a good 4 years (give or take) on my main systems here. Never had too many complaints, though there were serious problems with Vista's SP1 or SP2, I think, I remember I was pretty frustrated at the time.

I just think they charge too much considering other options that are available...regardless of how good their program may be.

    That's just me, though :)

Pretty good. I don't think that you need zemana if you have spyshelter. If your worried about keylogger you can add keyscrambler. I think that your all set otherwise. Oh wait I would also add a DNS service. Either Norton DNS or clearcloud. Its a good and FREE setup. Its amazing what you can get for free these days.

Isn't Spyshelter redundant if you have Defence+ enabled?

    My favorite so far ;)
Although I want to ask about the system usage? Did u use all it in real time?

Alll are used in real time except the on demand scanners. MBAM Pro uses quite a bit RAM, but does not slow down my system. EMET & SpywareBlaster do not use any resources. I use the ClearCloud utility rather then type in the servers. This would save a few MBs by just manually typing the two entries. The current setup does not seem to slow my system which is always a concern and the programs work together with no conflict. I used Kaspersky AV up until the 2011 version which did not work well on my system. I had a free one year Emsisoft Anti-Malware license so I switched over to that and am extremely satisfied. When the license came up for renewal I purchased through SurfRight. I saved a few dollars and got a year's license for Hitman Pro for free.

I see, that's the reason I switch to emsisoft too :D
How does phantom ruleset compared to advanced ruleset?
I'm still waiting my paycheck to buy LnS (or sandboxie)

Don't like security apps weighing down the system. Tried NOD32 ‘cause it’s light but had problems with youtube videos. Uninstalled.
So it’s Sandboxie with Windows 7 Firewall Control V.2 only. With Avira on-demand along with HMP and MBAM also on-demand for scanning all downloaded files (VirusTotal uploader also). System hardening courteous of EMET at maximum configured for all internet facing apps.
System running better than ever. :thumb:

It is more comprehensive than the enhanced ruleset. Great support from Phant0m also. I was using Outpost Firewall for a long time. It also became buggy on my system. I tried Outpost again recently with same result. I then trialed LnS and liked it very much. Very lightweight and easy to use.

Why? What happened to your NIS Fast Strong and Effective?

Is Vipre that good? I know they´re awesome in marketing all over the internet, but haven´t tested myself... Maybe I´ll give it a try...

    Cheers,

Just looked at the MRG results, Vipre is 26 for 26! Guess I'll have to try it now.

Edit: MRG tested the Premium version, which includes a firewall and blocking software that is more than I want to have running with Sandboxie.
