Just started using "The Bat" email client from Ritlabs.

it appears that Esets anti virus scanning module does not scam emails in The Bat .
I have scanning set up to scan Ports: 110,995 but nothing appears to be happening.

Is this able to work,,,,Has anyone got this to work, and if so how

Do you actually receive email via POP3? If via POP3S, do you have SSL scanning enabled?

Messeges via POP3 are counted in Statistics (Email client protection) but messages for Gmail account through IMAP (port 993) aren't...mean, are not scanned by ESS (SSL enabled).

    .
At this moment , I recieve via POP3 with SSL enabled in my client for server collection.
In Eset settings, I can only see the PORT settings , and here I have 110,995 .
Port 995 being the setting my mailserver uses for SSL.

Like I said , I can see no other settings in Eset for SSL apart from the Port settings
There is the pop3s scanner setup , but this is greyed out.

IMAP(S) can only be scanned with the Client Plugin, and "The Bat" isn't supported by the plugin.

ESET staff, are you planning to support TheBat in next version of EAV/ESS?

Not sure why TheBat is compaining that SSL v3 is used instead of TLS as ESET actually supports TLS. This issue will require a deeper investigation.
