    I've been running it for 2 days now. Cannot believe how fast it is. I'm hoping the rest of my addons will eventually be updated to work with it. Still a couple of little bugs with addons but nothing major to complain about.

    Will beta 12 automatically update to the RC? Or do I need to download and install it manually?

    I know. I'm just wondering if these beta's and RC's will auto-update when the time comes. Same with IE9 RC. I am thinking it'll update to final via a Win Update, but am not sure.... just curious..

    I'm not sure there's anything like "Mozilla Firefox 4.0 RC1 Beta". We've had several Fx 4 betas and soon the first official RC, RC1, will be released.

    "RC plus beta" is odd. Perhaps, a Major Geekism.

    So it's a nightly build, not the official RC.

    Personally, I'll wait for the final version.

    With this build many of my add-ons stopped working. It wasn't the case with the betas before...

    The latest hard-blocker is courtesy McAfee Site Advisor. It looks like the RC will block older versions of the add-on. They could do it right way but they seem to be unsure of "hurting" unwary end-users!

    I installed it yesterday,but for some unknown reason it uses 20-30% CPU...not all the time,but enough for me to wait the final version...

    Downloaded and installed.

    I'm actually quite surprised. Performance has come along very nicely since my last test a couple of betas back. I really didn't think they'd get it to this point.

    I doubt I'll leave Chrome to go back again, but I'll certainly test drive this for a while...

    Definitely seems faster but font rendering is terrible. This is when I switch to Chrome as my default browser.

    the RC does seem to be snappier with browsing and navigating the interface
