SOLUTION TO AN ERROR MESSAGE PLEASE!

Dear friends,
I am an infrequent poster, so kindly pardon me if my post is in the wrong forum!

Anyway, the problem is this : When i try to click on Computer-->Right click--->Manage--->click, i am getting the following error message : Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Data\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools\Computer Management lnk' Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.

I will be grateful for any informed advise. The OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit with 6GB RAM and 1TB Seagate Internal HDD and Seagate free agent pro 750GB EXTN.HDD(SATA). Kindly help!

Thank you for the top-notch advise. It worked,BUT ,two issues here.

1) under C:\ drive, there was no program Data! Hence i went to RUN and typed"C:\Program Data" which led me to the Program Data folder, from where i navigated to the Administrative tools and pasted the copied shortcut.

2) When i tried to access "Manage" by rt.clicking Computer(as you rightly said "My" is removed, possibly because when we pay cash for the OS we are only allowed by MS to take the "OS on lease") , the same error message appeared,BUT when i clicked on the short cut on the desktop i was allowed access to "Disk management". Kindly see the snap of the error msg. below!

1. The C:\ProgramData folder is hidden by default. To show it: http://www.ghacks.net/2010/04/14/how-to-show-hidden-files-in-windows-7/

2. Either you didn't copy & paste the desktop link you created to "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools" or maybe you didn't call the desktop link "Computer Management".

Once you've unhidden the C:\ProgramData folder check that there's a file called "Computer Management" with the type of shortcut in "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools"
