    -Confirm before closing multiple tabs
    -Don't close current browser window when closing last tab, create a new tab instead
    -When the mouse pointer hovers over a video, show video floating toolbar (view video in standalone window)
    -Few tweaks under 'Shortcuts & Menu'.

    It is right now must have extension for my chrome installation :thumb:

    I am also checking SaferChrome

    BTW, this switch is listed: --enable-confirm-to-quit

    It does absolutely nothing for me on Chrome 10 dev (Win XP).

    I saw it over here:
    http://peter.sh/experiments/chromium-command-line-switches/

    I remember reading that this facility would be made available for Mac users without need of an extension:
    http://downloadsquad.switched.com/2010/11/03/google-chrome-for-mac-getting-confirm-to-quit-option/

    Thanks for link

    --enable-confirm-to-quit = Enable the Confirm to Quit experiment.

    Its function seems different?

    AdBlock Plus for Chrome has been updated. Whether it's just my imagination, but it seems to take up a little more memory than previous.

    And I have to copy/paste the little devil again.

    I have a question that is not very involved with Chrome.

    I have Windows 7 64 Bit for the Java work in Chrome (which is 32 bits) should I install the 32 or 64-bit Java?

    I thank those who help.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Here I am only using the Adblock Plus and Speed Dial.
    Adblock Plus is excellent, there remains a single ad.
    @ExtremeGamerBR: You need to install Java 32-bit for every browser other than IE 64-bit.
    For missed ads, you can create your own filter. Click Adblock Plus icon, select ‘Easy create filter’, and then click on missed ads. Select Add from next dialog and missed ad will be blocked.
    http://adblockplus.org/ has been down for at least eight hours! This has been mentioned by one of the extensions devs, Joseph, in the comments section of the ABP for Chrome page.
    Sandboxie the other day. This one today. Hmmm.....
    I've been experimenting with combinations of security extensions for Chrome/Iron. Apart from WOT, ABP & Ghostery I have been using Ultimate Chrome Flag & SaferChrome
    I have also tried VTchromizer although I found that once installed its can't be moved by dragging without crashing the browser & it is just as easy to bookmark the Virus Total page.
    Safety - LinkExtend isn't as popular as SiteAdvisor for Chrome yet I thought it was quicker on the browser than Site Advisor which often seemed to take its time connecting to the server. WOT is better than both of them IMHO anyway.
    I haven't tried NotScripts yet on Chrome/Iron but it seems to work quite well in Opera.
    Does anyone have any other favourites?
    Well, fortunately you're not the only reader of this thread.
    Trying to find Chrome alternatives to FF's RSS dropdown live bookmark feature, I just came across TPGoogleReader, from this website:
    http://www.chromeplugins.org
    Has anybody tested plugins from this website?
    I know that this FlashBlock is an old one, but I am finding it increasingly useful.
    Does the "Noscript" alternative for Chrome have this and other plugin blocking options as well?
    Edit: Found out myself, lol.
    I believe you are referring to NotScripts. I actually run this on Opera & it seems to run OK on that. I haven't tried NotScripts on Iron/Chrome yet though. I believe it has had some teething problems.
    Yeah, because of that whole API issue, it still seems to be limited.
    Yes, I believe Mr Maone inter alios have discussed this issue at some length on his NoScript forum.
    It all depends on if you believe inter alios to be plural or not I guess. I'm not actually sure what Fowler thinks about this. Good point though, I did originally wonder about this myself. Grammar is predominantly only a convention anyway (I'll put it down to my Mercian dialect). o_O
    Well, "between you and I", we run the risk of boring others to death with this OT nonsense and so, fascinating as it is, ... get thee to the pub!
