    Hi,
Today, 6th Feb 2011, I am preparing to delete Kersperski and install ESET Smart.
I also am running Rapport as advised by the Bank.
I am changing from Kersperski to ESET because I have an issue with download and opening time, hanging during multi-tasking etc.
Can someone please advise me on the following issues:
    1. Will Rapport conflict with ESET?
    2. With Kersperski and Rapport running, I am experiencing a speed problem in that on a re-boot, it take +- 18 seconds to open Google.
    3. I have installed FireFox with no noticeable difference.
    4. Google Chrome is faster.
    5. ESET Cape Town, tells me that Rapport could be a problem.

    Your advice will be appreciated.
Also, can you email me directly at michaelt15 at telkomsa.net

Hello michaelt15, and welcome with you first post.

I think that you should take advantage that Eset offer you a 30 day free trail periode. In that way you questions will hopefully be answered. Basically it can be difficult to tell if two programs is going to have incompatibility issues.
You can download a trial of Eset by following this link: http://www.eset.com/download/free-trial/international

    Regards

    Woodgiant

I've got Rapport running on my machine as well as Eset SS and I can honestly say that I've not noticed a problem. However, that's not to say that other people will not have issues. Like Woodgiant says, make use of the 30 day trial period.

I have Rapport and ESS running with no problem. I had the same on my previous computer, also with no problems.
