should be soon. to me it is ready. really nice piece of software and they have really worked hard to simplify it over the previous version.

We're in the last 24 hours of QA testing. Unless I hear of a show-stopper tomorrow, we'll do the release Monday afternoon (eastern time zone).

We've swapped out the license/copyright protection binaries. So, on Monday, we need to send out replacement 'license codes' to all users.

    Cheers,

    Eirik

Over the course of the whole beta testing of the newest AppGuard; this program has become my absolute favorite security program out of them all. It's a very powerful, yet relatively simple app to run. I just want to thank the whole Blue Ridge Networks team for an exemplary product as well as their stellar support. In fact I may let my license expire on the other product I was using with AppGuard simply because I don't think anything can get by AG. Also, thanks to all the beta testers here who helped BR make AG awesome. :thumb:

I echo those comments. If you were a early beta tester on this project, or havent used it say sine December. I urge you to try it again. I was not big on it at the start but it has become plug and play. Or as Matt with Remove Malware.com said, it is the one perfect setup that even Mom and Pop could use.

I am using it by itself with HP for random scans. Again, kudoes to BRS and for making a product that will stop all.

AppGuard is excellent and so is the support you receive from the BlueRidge team and thats hard to come by these days. I really cant see myself using anything else on my pc.

I don't know the details pertaining to the 'trial'. However, if you start with Monday's release, you'd start with a "clean slate".

    Cheers,

    Hi All,

We'll be updating our AppGuard web pages Monday with the new release. I'd like to post a few user reviews/quotes. I can do so via quote, name, city/state/country. Or, I could also just link to a Wilder's post or elsewhere. So, if anyone's interested, please post here, elsewhere (let me know), or send us an email at appguard@blueridgenetworks.com.

    Cheers,

    Eirik

Don't know if Eirik posted an answer to this already (I can't even remember if I posted an answer to this o_O), but yes it will be fixed in the next release. We're just waiting for the head of QA to bless it.

    No.

Barb and I were just coordinating release details: version number, release notes, file size, etc. And then not five minutes ago, the QA Manager told us of a show-stopper. Fortunately, we expect the fix should only delay the release one day.

The issue involves a failure to suspend the guarding of an application. It only occurs on a host where there is both a 32 and a 64 bit version of the same application (e.g., IE).

We apologize for yet another delay.

thanks for the heads up. It's better to have issue resolved now before the public release.

It's always much better to catch this now than latter. What's a few more days or weeks for that matter to insure the best quality product possible is being released. :thumb:

    Hi All,

Our engineering group recommended further delaying the release. They feel we ought to conduct at least one more round of full regression tests after yet one more driver build. I expect to hear from them tomorrow afternoon as to whether we'll be able to release this Thursday or not. Again, please accept our apologies.
