Sorry I've been MIA for the past couple weeks. This is actually functioning as designed. I think there is even a help topic on it (see Advanced Topics->Trouble Shooting and Usage). I guess having an "Install" protection level may confuse the issue, but a combination of "Install" level and UnGuarding IE should solve the problem.

I think that we've fixed this (at least our preliminary testing is promising).

I was not able to reproduce this on my PC, but AppGuard does protect RunDLL32 so you could try unguarding rundll32 to get around this.

    Barb or Erik,
Do you know if they have fixed the bug where programs, and rules disappear from memory guard's exception list?

I am very impressed with this product. I tried last night and could not get one piece of malware through it. Basically it is exactly what some of us have been searching for. I love it, especially on 64 bit.

AG kind of makes testing malware boring since it basically castrates the malware files.

I believe a strong AE will always be more effective than any AV. Never the less i'm an overkill type guy so I run them both.

I will definitely be using AG on 2 of my PC's. I am just trying to decide on which firewall I should use with AG. Online Armor is my favorite, but OA & AG does not run well together. I'm using Windows FW for now, but I would like to use something that offers better leak protection. I'm looking at LnS, and i may decide to use it. I have plenty of time to decide so i'm not in any rush at the moment.

Try changing sandboxie container to other drive instead of C: drive. It works for me last time. ;)

That didn't do it. Any other ideas?

edit: So far I am having a couple of problems.
    1. I can't figure out how to run Sandboxie with AppGuard
    2. My version of AppGuard is 3.0.7.0, but I am told there is a version 3.0.7.1. When I used RevoPro to uninstall AG in order to try a new install to see if that gives me the newer version, I get a message that I can't uninstall AppGuard.

I've used it with Eaz-Fix pro but for the last year been using it with Comodo Time Machine. No problems for me with either. I do disable MBR guard before uninstalling.

Removed AppGuard by installing a fresh system image, so I could use Sandboxie again.

I love this. My teenage son was off in lawless land and got hit by the fake AVG antivirus. AppGuard did its thing and save me a ton of trouble fixing it.

A picture is worth a million sometimes.
