Mamutu and LnS on demand with the AppFilter plugin that enhances the rule notification GUI. MBAM and HMP on demand scans.

    I'm on charge... :D lol

Nah... Just trying to figure out why the difference from one system to the other? One's yours and the other the general laptop family uses?

By the way, how are you finding the co-existence between both UAC and SuRun? (I do love the principle behind SuRun... But, never actually fell compelled to use it. I actually did download the executable like a year ago or so, but never installed it. I guess newer versions may have existed since then. :D)

Daughter mostly uses the laptop, which of course doesn't have applocker or srp because it's home premium version win7. SuRun has so far coexisted nicely with UAC, no problems. I like it because I can open programs or windows functions with a simple right-click context menu and choose "Start as administrator" and have SuRun remember it, so I never need to answer the prompt and type a password from my account (I'm the onle "user" in the SuRun's membership).

I never got to set SuRun to 'remember' from the "Start as Administrator" right-click menu even if I check both options under LUA. I've to manually go to the settings and add it in. And for some apps, sometimes UAC 'kicks in' before SuRun does - so the prompt still appears. An example is the tool Unlocker. Apart from all that, SuRun is still quite the nicest 'white-list manager' I found so far that UAC didn't include...

Mamutu back on. I like the program, it's just hard to know how much it is doing, there aren't many tests of Mamutu.

Mamutu is extremely silent, and you barely notice it.
I would love to see some tests

uninstalled AIS's firewall component and went back to Comodo Firewall, at least until v6 of Avast is released.
