On-Demand Scanner

    Looking for a free on demand scanner that works well with Kaspersky Internet Security and can remove any missed traces of infections. Good detection rate & few false positives is my only requirement.

    I tried to figure out which was better between Superantispyware, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and emisoft a2 but could not come to a conclusion. Or maybe there is something better than these three?

    Hitman Pro is a good choice. Though it won't remove anything 30 days after activating the trial license (for free that is). You can use it as a scanner and manually remove anything it finds though.

    Hitman Pro and or Emsisoft, EAM or the Emergency Kit will do.

    It's worth noting that if you are past the 30-day free trial period and opt to remove the "detected" items manually there will still be traces left behind.

    Though, you can wait with activating the trial license untill you really encounter an infection!
