    I have ESS 4.2.40
At first everything was ok but as time passed my wireless connection took longer to connect, and now it doesn't connect at all. It requires the network address really long time and finally it says "limited or no connectivity"
If I'll try to use "repair" it gives me error sayng: failed to renew IP address.

There is a way around: I disable FF filtering while it connects and after connection I'll enable the filtering again. But this is not a solution for me. It can't be done if I'm logged in as limited user.

    Any ideas?
I have tried automatic and interactive modes. "System" and other applications listed in rules and zones window are all allowed. In preferences I also restored all default settings - nuthing.:'(

    Hello tarts,

What version of Windows are you running? I would recommend upgrading to the latest build of ESS to see if this may resolve the issue. If that does not resolve the issue, let us know.

    Hi

I updated to latest version. At first it worked very good. Connected to wireless prety fast. Then after my computer had gone to standby for a number of times it gave me the limited connectivity error again when waking up from standby. And sometimes if it connects, it takes pretty much time.

I have windows XP sp2. Windows firewall is disabeled and I don't have any other antivirus or FF programs installed.

If you can update to SP3. The issue seems to be when the machine is coming out of standby and not on restart? If yes you might need to troubleshoot standby issues

The issue remains if I'll do restart. It's just that I don't completely shut down my computer very often.
Do you think ps3 will help? It seems to be a firewall issue?

It seems that version 4.2.71 solved the problem.
    Thanks all for your input!

I don't think it's public yet, but you can ask Marcos. He sent me the link.
