I don't remember if this has been asked before... even by me :D... or mentioned, but regarding AppGuard in other languages... will it be provided in more languages? If so, which ones?

    Thanks

What? You don't have the problem with the tray icon showing protection as enabled after disabling it? I have to click on the icon one more time before it shows as being disabled.

That could end in disaster for you if you are not careful. I just uninstalled Vmware, and it took at least 6 to 7 minutes to uninstall. I would be worried the protection would reenable in the middle of an installation or uninstallation and cause you a major headache.

That's too much unnecessary work for me lol I would rather just extend the time in suspension time out box when needed, and disable protection or set it to install mode. I think install mode uses what ever value you define in the suspension time out value box, but i'm not positive.

Have you tried using Chrome with AG? Chrome will not work for me without setting protection level to low. I even set privacy and memory guard to no for Chrome in the guarded apps section. It still will not work unless protection level is set to low.

I whole heartedly agree with this. It's not just the uninstall but the installs are the ones that can bend you over. I used to have mine set at 10 then went to 15 before finally setting it to 20. I'm not worried about forgetting to re-enable. It's become a habit to do so.

BSOD points to AG as being the cause. I got the BSOD after installing the latest beta version of Online Armor. I'm a beta tester for OA as well. I was running there safety check wizard after the installation, and at about the end of the wizard i got the BSOD. I assumed OA was the cause, but after i analyzed the minidump it pointed me to AG as the cause. I was not able to get a full dump. I reconfigured windows to create a full dump now, but I have not had the BSOD since. Directly after I had the BSOD AG became completely disabled at boot. It kept asking me to put in an integer between 1 and something, but it would not allow me to inter an integer. Can't remember for sure exactly what the prompt said about entering an integer. I'm sending a report of logs, minidump, and other info I have. I'm sending a full report to OA as well.

    Update: Bug info sent 1/10/10 @ 0545.

Windows explorer also keeps crashing since installing Online Armor beta. Not sure AG has anything to do with it, but I thought i should post it since my minidump pointed to AG as being the cause of my BSOD shown in the above post. AG kept blocking me from sending an e-mail to blueridge support. My screen then froze up, and became unresponsive. Explorer crashed immediately after that. I had to disable AG to send the e-mail to support. I believe it was triggered when i tried to attach the zip file to the e-mail. I believe AG was blocking me from doing so. Hopefully the minidump i sent them will be of some help. I'm sure they are going to want a full dump file, but i have not had a BSOD since i reconfigured windows to create a full dump instead of just a minidump.

I believe I may have discovered the cause of the BSOD i encountered earlier. When i installed Online Armor beta I set Appguard's programs folder at the following directory: C:\Program Files\Blue Ridge Networks\AppGuard to be excluded from OA's protection allowing all actions to run from AG's programs folder. I did this to prevent conflict between AG, and OA. I did not get a chance to set BrnFileLock as trusted in the HIPS defense module of OA before I received a BSOD. BrnFileLock was in the following directory: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers. I have now set BrnFileLock as trused. OA may have not been giving enough rights to BrnFileLock for AG to function correctly causing the system to lock, and then BSOD. BrnFileLock was the driver that was reported in the minidump to cause the BSOD so it's a good possibility it was the cause. I will report back if i have anymore problems. I will report this to OA.

I am getting an error from appguard when starting the computer:

"Please enter an integer between 0 and 1."

Does anyone know why this shows up? Allready reinstalled few times and removed all settings and folders of appguard after uninstalling, but it still appears.
Suspension timeout is set to 60 minutes. MBRGuard = Disabled, MemoryGuard = Disabled.
If i exit and start the appguard gui manually, the message doesn't appear, it only appears on windows startup..

    Win 7 64bit.

Hi BBss, this is a known issue with this beta release that has been reported in several posts already. As you've discovered if you exit the GUI and restart it the problem doesn't appear.

Hi, Cutting, will you post the AppGuard events you are seeing when Chrome will not load?
