That giveaway ended back in October (if I remember correctly), so, yeah, you'll be charged for it.

Even though Panda Cloud does not hook into your mail client it still scans the mail as it hits your inbox. I was attempting to mail out some malware samples and Panda blocked the email from being sent out due to the fact it detected the malware I was submitting.

I am using Panda Cloud Pro again, and I still have the same complaint as I had a few months ago (after release of 1.3).

The scan time is pathetic slow: the full scan takes 2 hours and 34 minutes. While ESET, Norton, McAfee, AVG, avast! and so on do the same data within 34 minutes.

    Scans I performed:
1: after installation and two reboots: Optimized scan: 12 minutes
2: after normal pc usage and a reboot: Full scan: 2 hours and 34 minutes
3: after normal pc usage: Optimized scan: 13 minutes

When will 1.4 (or 1.5) come and which changes will be included?
You might understand I request fixes for the incredibly slow Full scans.

I suggested to exclude archives from scanning to speed it up :)

Also seems like the best option to me.

The website has been updated. Sorry for the delay.

Regarding more granular configuration options as requested by many Wilders and our Support Forum users (mostly focused on performance & finetuning), they are coming in version 1.5.

Nice! Though, I hope PCAV keeps as simple and minimalistic as possible...

I guess there is a 1.4 coming first, right? Anything known about fixes/changes? Anything known about a time schedule?

And regarding version 1.5, any more information to disclose? Will the whole user interface get an overhaul, because that would make sense if you addd more configuration options? And a time schedule?

Yes, there will be a v1.4 pushed out towards the end of the month, but it will include mostly corrections of existing features and maintenance issues and other optimizations.

I can't give out much details of v1.5 yet, but I can say its 95% focused on requests from Wilders' users and the PCAV Support Forum Mods regarding performance optimizations and advanced configuration options. V1.5 will be the first batch of these requested features (as not all of them can be done at once). The rest of the requested features will come in later versions.

Just installed 1.3, been awhile since I used the Cloud. Quite a few improvements have been made. Actually since I last used it, it is like night and day. I am very impressed.:thumb:

well if this is true that Panda listen to the wilders users then Panda Cloud just need 2 things to do and then everyone will use their software, and 1 is: make Panda Cloud as light as avast and avira and the second 2: make Panda detection+engine better then the most AV's to detect all new threats so the user will not be infected with some undetected files, if Panda can do this 2 only two suggestions everyone will use it and enjoy it. !!!

Because everyone these days want a light AV that does NOT slow down the PC at all !!! and to protect the pc against malware, viruses as good as possible almost perfect almost !!

    Good Luck.

I have a general question on Panda Cloud Antivirus

    - When I install Panda Cloud Antivirus, will it upload my files to the " cloud" ?

I got some personal files here and I don't want that those files are on the internet or something like that :)
