Scanning to PDF ?

Hi - I am looking for a free program to scan (from printer/scanner) to PDF format. I am currently using Scan2PDF from Koma Code. It's ok, but lacks being able to change DPI resolution & has a clunky interface. Also the scan quality just isn't the greatest. I didn't have much better luck with STP freeware, I am hoping someone here knows a real gem for this application. Thanks as always, D

I rem trying out Scan2PDF from Koma Code a few years back. IIRC, I found it difficult to scan documents & keeping the output pdf to A4 size.

In the end, I simply used Irfanview's Acquire/Batch scanning option. Scanned to multipage TIFF image file, then print to PDF using PDFCreator (set to A4 size).
