I had Outpost but the dang thing is just not ready for hyper threading. Is there another firewall that shows the ip and the connection for each program like outpost did?

Kerio 2.1.5 show all your active connections & their IPs. Also, every few seconds the IPs change to the domains (www.abc.com) & then back to the IPs.

The Sygate PF main screen shows active connections and the associated applications & IP addresses.
The traffic log provides more details, and you can use the packet log to capture and view the data packets.

Sounds like a trick question. Which firewall DON'T do that?

LOL, Zone Alarm does not show me my active connections and the IP I am connected too. I cannot get Sygate to work on here. Looks as if ZA or Kerio may be my only choices.

Hey Eliot, if ya can't find a suitable firewall that also shows connections the way you'd like to, ya might want to look at this little freebie/cheapie to run along with your FW - it's called IpTicker

    http://www.soft-trek.com.au/prjIPTicker.asp

Restriction is it only works on Win2000 & XP.

    NIS/NPF shows active connections.

8Signs/VisNetic and CXH-I also show active connections, but they are stateful packet filters with no application control.

Your other option would be a port mapping utility:
    Port Explorer
    Vision
    Active Ports

    Regards,

    CrazyM

look 'n' stop is also able to show active connections. Shows local and remote IP as well as local and remote ports. Does not map back to the process though.
