AdMuncher works now (even wit HTTP level on max) but..........I have to disable SOL and then enable it. After this "tric" AM works.

    Děkuju.

BTW Great proggies, both AM and Prevx

Any progress on resolving this issue now that the final release of AdMuncher 4.9 has been released?

Still does not work for me, months after I posted about it.

Is there any news about resolving this problem? The final version of AdMuncher has been out for a month now and it's very tedious dsiabling/enabling SOL each time I use Opera.

Weird, it works just fine for me with Opera. I did previously have problems (as per earlier in this thread)...though I can't quite remember how it got permanently fixed. :doubt:

Could you take a dose of your favourite memory enhancer and post back please? ;)

Silence from Prevx. Does this mean that the big brains are working on a solution to this issue or has it been quietly forgotten?

Hopefully help from the other party involved. I have contacted Murray Hurps from AdMuncher and send him logs. He is taking a look at the problem.

Memory working again...3.5.0.161 fixed the problem for me.

It's been fine ever since through the other betas and to the final. I do have Prevx as an exclusion in the filter targets in Admuncher (though I didn't add it as an exclusion originally to overcome any particular problem, just to ensure Admuncher wasn't acting as a proxy for any programs that didn't need it)

Thanks Scoobs. I do have exclusions set up in both Prevx and AdMuncher for them to allow each other. I've just reset them in case they had somehow become corrupt. Let's see...

Has anything happened with this yet? I am having the same issues many others are having. With SOL disabled ADMuncher works fine but reactivate SOL and ADMuncher ist kaput.

Based on the silence I guess neither ADMuncher or Prevx give much of a hoot about this...:cautious:  :cautious:

I disagree with this. As it is Christmas and most folks schedules are different. I think Joe will pop in at some point and address this issue. You know Prevx is better then that.

It has nothing to do with Christmas time.

The issue has been brought to attention may 15th 2010.

What's the common denominator here? Is everybody with a problem running XP or maybe 64bit Windows? I've tried various things to try to create the problem on my Win7 x86 setup but whatever I do Prevx SOL+Ad Muncher works fine.

I'm squeezing the last little bit out of my XP. As many others have posted here and I have experienced it seems to be related to running SOL. With SOL on ADMuncher quits working, with SOL off shazzam ADMuncher works fine.

We've fixed these incompatibilities for quite a few users by whitelisting their scans logs. Could anyone having problems please send a scan log to report@prevxresearch.com? It also may be worth lowering the Prevx self protection to Medium from Maximum as that has also fixed it for some users.
