SpongeGuard, perhaps a review of URLVoid's Frequently Asked Questions and About Us might shed more light on the subject.

Is this some kind of forbidden question? 157 views and not a single response? Sure, I read the FAQ and About Us for that website, but neither of those details what I want to know. I'm curious how URL scanners work. Whether they download a piece of the website adn scan it for any and all malicious code that is present or possible, or whether they go to the website in a sandbox fashion and just "test" it.
