Happy December with avast!

I sent them a reply and hopefully I will get a response back on Monday. I'm just curious why they would bother with an attachment and just post it in the body of the email instead! Have a link to another page for the license key and that's done.

 

I too, sent them a mail. I also mentioned that whoever created the e-mail needed to learn some grammar. IMO, not very professional for an AV company, but then again, in this day and age who cares about grammar anymore....

They were quick in sending me an email with a key this time around. So Avast 5.0 considered a 2010 edition? When do they usually send out a new version?

 

Question for the winners, have you ever in the past used the same e-mail address , like registering or buying on-line a avast product

Validity of license starts from day of winning/receiving license.

 

You can use notepad to view the "License_XX.avastlic" file. The license start and end date are shown something like

# License creation date: Dec 9, 2010

# Update license expiry date: Dec 9, 2011
