osip: from their rules/regulations the winning license is just for 1 PC & 1 year from the date it's issued to winner..:) but maybe u can try to insert it into multiple PC to see it works or not...

Hey guys. I decided I would just give up after exactly 11 days of trying with no luck... :doubt: but after seeing the great success rate of a lot of wilders members I decided to give it a try again. Is there any specific time window you would suggest to try at? or is there anything special you did? thanks in advance.

    @ atomomega
I got your PM, man, but your settings are such that you are not accepting PMs unless the member is on your buddy list. That is why I posted to you in the forum in the first place, I couldn't contact you via PM. Guess you have to add me to your buddy list? :doubt:

When I try to answer your PM, I get this...

I just received an e-mail that I won, but there was no license attached. Looks like the license file is not getting through my ISP.
    Anybody else experience this?

Also, I think most everyone that uses a valid e-mail address will win. My spamgourmet.com addresses never won. Two tries with 2 valid e-mail addresses and I won each time. Might just be a coincidence though. Maybe Avast just wants you to feel good by telling you that you were lucky :D

You should get two seperate mails, the first one "Hello a lucky avast! Winner! :)", the second one with an activation file.

I think they changed the process because my other wining was sent to a different ISP and the lic. was attached, An excerpt from the e-mail

Hello a lucky avast! Winner! :)

Thank you again for participating in our December Quiz. :)

You were among first 100 lucky one, who replied correctly to our question. As promised we generated one free 1-year license of avast! Internet Security.

License file is attached to this email.

What sort of a submission routine do you follow?
Enter once a day? 10 times a day? Do you try to time it for when the question changes? I experienced success by submitting when the question changed (4 pm my local time) and I used 2 or 3 different email addresses. (My justification for multiple addresses is that I have a couple of computers myself, and each license awarded is good for only one pc. Plus I have friends and family and associates whose computers I help to maintain, and I like to share.) I just filled out the entry form multiple times, rotating the email addresses, over and over, for about 5 minutes, knowing that avast was selecting every 20th submission. I view winning as a combination of luck, strategy, dedication and having nothing better to do. ;)

The license is for one machine and one key is enough for a dual boot system, since you can only use only one OS at one time.

I also won one and received my key and I used a gmail email address to do it. I received only one email and the key was attached to it.

Have you checked your spam folder in your Gmail account?

I looked through the whole email and I didn't see an attachment symbol or an attachment at the bottom of the email. They gave me a link to download the suite and that was it.

I have been using Gmail for a while so I know what to look for! I was sent a plan email and no other emails in the spam box. :D

Right click then choose one of the "This frame" options and you'll have the whole frame to yourself...and it's still functional!
