Eset Smart Security until now, but much depends of the new version 5 of Eset Smart Security. There are some security features I really miss of mine security suite, on present time. And there are some features which i do not want to see on the next edition, like toolbars and desktop gadgets.
    Best Regards

Voted for KIS and NIS :thumb: NIS is better for average users, but KIS offers more features and configuration options and also stronger protection after changing a few settings (assuming the user knows what (s)he's doing), although it's heavier and first releases tend to be buggy.

I am not a great fan of suites, the only one I ever used that I liked was Bullguard.

    Bullguard Site

Norton was horrible & shouldn't be used by anyone!

I used McAfee for over a year once, I didn't think it was that bad actually, but it was way too heavy for my underpowered laptop. I don't miss it.

I just use MSE on my desktop & laptop now.

Since Vista and now Windows 7, have not felt the need to use a firewall other than Windows Firewall. So for me a suite does not make sense. If I really have to go with it, it would sure be Norton Internet Security 2011. Once I get a notebook with a faster hard drive, I might transition to Microsoft Security Suite - MSE + Win FW + IE9 + UAC + DEP + SEHOP (a funky ;) setup). Right now, avast! is being used in place of MSE.

    Hmm, Kaspersky hands down! ;)
It has everything full system virtualization, sandbox, policy sandBox "Application Control", BB, hips, anti-spam, adblocker, firewall "with IDS", antivirus and all are very configurable! :thumb:

Avast IS is so easy and powerful when you update it regularly"or it will be updated automatically to be honest",the new version AIS6 will bring the full functional Behavior shield and that is a great defense+It has a sandboxing module, enough or not.

I don't like security suites in general I can get a better setup with mix and match AV + Firewall combos.

However if I did choose to use a security suite it would be Norton, it is the best one that I have ever tried. Stable, light, good AV and smart firewall that auto allows trusted programs without displaying pop ups.

I thought I would say that since in the past I hated Norton because it used to be bloatware. Now things have change and Norton is one of the best.

    Thanks.:D

As of now I prefer an individually installed security system so that I can test them one by one who among them passed my own personal taste...(just like making coffee), as I thought then (that most of the time) ...a security suite that most of them are "heavy" and could slow down my pc.

Another thing was that, if the security suite malfunctions coz it's an all in one protection, or was consistently and violently attacked by a super stealthy advanced and highly evolved (probably came from the future...hehe..just kidding) malwares, virus, worms...hhmmnn..or ..maybe a mega genius hacker/s from a 3rd world poor country ...then your sorry. You will be surfing the net half-naked.

Better, trust an individually made combo of software protections. It has their own set of skills of specialization and expertise on their own field.
