backWeb-7288971.exe

Hi,

I have just installed Kodak easyshare software last night and have just started up the computer today, ZoneAlarm is asking to allow internet access for backWeb-7288971.exe and I am unsure on what it is. Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I would rather know what this is before using or not using the file, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi LJ,

The Kodak software uses BackWeb Lite to update the program.
I never saw the use of having BackWeb running all the time for the updates in the program that happen about twice a year (and of which you will receive notification if you filled out the registration form on their website)
Not even counting the privacy issues I would disable that software, so it won't even ask again.
