US Government seizure of the internet has begun; DHS takes over 76 websites

    that on the technical side. a bigger hurdle might be the legality - it will not take long before somebody feels threatened the control over the inet users and introduces a new bill which makes the use of alternate DNS, VPN services, anonymize proxies and forged browser agents unlawful, most of it to be enforced then by the ISP

    Liu Xiaobo wins Nobel Peace Prize, but gets sentenced to 11 years in prison for his accomplishment. The committee placed the prize in an empty chair in his honor.     (Edited my post) My best friend lives in China, and i'm afraid to ask him his opinion on matters such as these in fear that if he is wire tapped that they may try to do something similar to him.
