Trend Micro Support: "Spyshelter & Safe Returner sites are malware sites" - f/p?

    I reported it many times, but they did not corrected their ratings for Safe Returner. Problem with Spyshelter site came recently, I have also reported that today.

    Just submit Spyshelter and Safe Returner url to VT, results: 1/6 (both flagged by ParetoLogic) :blink:

    They still have not changed it? I know you hat send them a message about it in the case of Safereturner, but that they simply do not make work out of it is crazy.

    Did you try to report this issues to Spyshelter and Safe Returner ? Maybe if they would contact Trend and drop them a line about profit looses due those actions situation would change ?

    that doesn't sound like a tactic that trendmicro would use.

    Final reply by trend micro after ~20 mail conversations with their support.
    So these are not FPs...:eek:

    Only strange code i could find in spyshelter.com is this part, referring to site classified as 'bad' by Norton Safe Web & MyWOT (more here at URLVoid)

    It looks like there are two entires creating site footer, both containing given link. First block seem to be commented out, but second one is valid. Above that, there are no strange things, Google Analytics script and modified version of Flash detecting/embedding script.

    It would be much easier for us and owners of that site if we could new what malicious stuff Trend detected there...
