I am currently using Kaspersky Antivirus + Outpost Firewall Pro, but wanted to try out Comodo.
I have heard that Comodo Conflicts with KAV, so I think I should also change my antivirus software, too.
So which antivirus is compatible with Comodo(I will only use the firewall and Defense+ without Antivirus components)?
I have made a search in Comodo's forum, and find out that most of them are using Avira and MSE, these antivirus works with Comodo without any problems, but these two antivirus does not suit my taste.
Is there any other recommendation, thanks!:)

The antivirus built in Comodo is okay actually, but I still want to install other AVs that has higher detection rate.

    I ran Comodo CIS5 + Emsisoft Anti-Malware + Prevx SOL for a 2-week period.

All real-time guards running concurrently. No observed conflicts whatsoever.

If you only use Comodo FW (standalone install) there should be no conflict with any other AV.

    Hello pootel,

Avira and Avast do not conflict with Comodo Firewall.

Some people have experienced some conflicts between Panda Cloud AV and Comodo firewall and for some the conflicts have been solved by adding the whole Panda folder to the exclusion list in the image execution control in Comodo.

    Regards

Avast and Avira tested it in Windows 7 x86.

Any AV listed here that works with Comodo will be fine. Comodo will catch what slips by the AV with either D+ or the sandbox. :)

Avast works flawlessly with CIS,IMO that combo is as good as it gets.Prevx too co-exists without issues.

Nice. I have been using Prevx with Kaspersky, but they conflict with each other from time to time.
Good news that I can use Prevx together with Avast.:)

I used to run CFP 3.x and KAV 2009/2010 at the same time without any issues (other than CFP traffic monitor not working correcly because KAV is a proxy), haven't tried CIS 5 and KAV 2011 though. CFP and Avira also worked well.

CIS 5 along with prevx SOL and MBAM real-time is an excellent combo. MBAM catches alot of the trojans and fake AV's that comodo may miss. Prevx sends a red alert up but doens't remove. MBAM fileassasin does that rather well though. ;)

Comodo without the Antivirus component should work fine with pretty much any Anti-Virus. Kaspersky may be the sole exception

Sometimes Windows freezes while Prevx real-time scanning component is starting up.
