I sent my email if the offer is still open. Besides, I like the idea of being eligible for a free license. :)

Yes, the offer is still open!

Here's some more information on TrojanHunter Cloud: It will be a tool to primarily detect new, undetected malware. So it won't be a scanner in the traditional sense that it will scan signatures and try to match against them. It will instead look for suspicious files, and if found, send them to our cloud server to be analyzed. If the cloud server identifies it as malware it will be reported back to the user as dangerous.

It's been a busy two weeks - taking a little longer than expected. Here is a screenshot of TrojanHunter Cloud scanning the drivers on the system though :)

    It is the main GUI?:ninja:

If yes, seems users can just press the "Scan computer" to scan the whole system without a custom selection?

I have changed the plans somewhat from what they first were. Initially I wanted to integrate the cloud functionality into TrojanHunter for the beta. However, I've now decided that we will have a separate TrojanHunter Cloud program.

TrojanHunter Cloud will be strictly a point-and-click program. No complicated options. It should be so easy to use that anyone's grandmother would have no problem using it. TrojanHunter Cloud will have no signatures. It will rely on the cloud and generic detection routines to find malware. And the more people that use it, the more accurate it will become. Oh, and did I mention it will be freeware?

It is no good if it cannot scan custom files or directories.:p

Hoping the beta will be released asap.

TrojanHunter Cloud is intended to detect and clean infections in a system with live malware. It is not a scanner which you would use to scan things you have downloaded before running them. However, all of the functionality in TrojanHunter cloud will be integrated into TrojanHunter to benefit paid TrojanHunter users.

Sorry, we've been really busy adding new trojans (see http://www.misec.net/trojaninfo/). The upside is that all the work we're doing contributes to TrojanHunter Cloud as all the things we're adding go straight to the cloud and will also benefit the users of the program when it's released.
