Wow the scanning speed is amazing.

I hat to put processhacker.exe on the ignnore list, because i use it instead of the Windows Taskmanager. And Safe Returner saw that as a high risk. :)

Are you suggesting that Hitman Pro uses Dr. Web engine?

The location at "Image File Execution Options" is sensitive.

Safe Returner will check it because lots of virus use it to normal antivirus product prohibition.

Thanks Morro, gerardwil and Harsha_mic,and all others paying attention to safe returner.

thanks for your reply about the bugs, the installation problems, other product report plus version as a trojan.

Safe Returner is develped by a one person team.

It is a unique approach to fighting malware which do not need update malware signature.

You know only one could not catch all the latest malware signature like MBAM or SAS. However,it could kill easily the newest rogue like HDD Defragmenter,Think Point, and so on...

I think it won't be grow up without wilderssecurity members.

Welcome for any latest samples test

    Hi Egomoo,

I have scanned many times with Safe Returner. But Last Scan under overview tab shows as Never.

    Thanks,
    Harsha.

Do please run as administrator to allow Safe Returner write files at %all users% folder.

I am not sure how to do this. When i right-click on the shortcut (created on the desktop). I do not get any "Run As Adminstrator" option.

    Note:
    1) I installed this app. using "Run As Adminstrator" option only.
    2) During Scans, i did not shut down any of my security apps.
    3) I do not see any logs under History (Scan Tab -> History)

Me neither, but i think that in my case that is so because the only result i got was one that i placed on the ignore list. Maybe only threats that are truly removed by Safe Returner get logged, but i could be wrong about that.

Yes,only threats that are truly removed by Safe Returner get logged.

But for Harsha, it will write the last scan time to the config file locate %AllUsersProfile%/Application data\Safe Returner\

So Harsha,I think you do not allow safe returner to write files at there.

Guys, can you check to see if any of you have Atanda Toolbar in registry. This is the only program I installed recently and I'm wondering if is from this.

    I found it under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software.

I didn't say I was infected. I just noticed while I was doing something else in the registry and don't remember installing it. Anyway it's gone.
