If I copy the code (MAJORGEEKS01) and download the installer, but not install the ABS now, I'm going to lose giveaway?

I installed this "free version" and as happened once before in the past, it offered an "update".

I downloaded and installed that, assuming that it was a true update and not a gimmick.

After installation of the "update" my "free version" no longer worked unless I bought the program.

This is disgusting because I only ran the "free version" once and have no idea if it actually does anything.

This happened a few months ago and I now question the integrity of this company and certainly would not buy anything from someone that does business in this manner.

If you download this program, be sure not to "update" it because this is just a "come-on" to try to find someone dumb enough to buy their product after being treated in this manner.

This SE version of Auslogics BoostSpeed has been free on that v3.co.uk store for a while. Actually the stores look to have the same hosts. This SE version is the poster child of what a crippled freeware version contains compared to a full version. I don't remember many companies recommending that a crippled freeware version be sold for the same price as a full version. But apparently this SE Auslogics program is so exceptional that it is promoted as being just as valuable as a full version  I tried it out a little while back after much pre-release fanfare and uninstalled within a short time.

I believe this is the same store that had the special on AVG Identity Protection a month ago or so. And when the promo ended we found that so had updates for the stand alone AVG ID. And some store personnel (somehow related to the store) was here on Wilders justifying why no store or company should have to give info about ending support for a program, even if it is having a close out sale. What a bunch of garbage. I wouldn't trust buying from that store ever again.
