    Ola,
My close friend still uses FB, however she has one tiny problem with it.
On registering she chose public profile [not familiar with the exact names, sorry]
then she accidentally discovered her profile photo was available thru g^^gle-> find graphics upon using her name and surname as the query,

so she changed her profile to private/ limited[?] and...

the picture is still available in g**gle and can be easily retrieved when needed...

    she's pretty upset about it

what to do to permanently delete the photo from g()gle ?

Korben, it doesn't sound too promising, but hope your friend finds her answer!
Let us know if she does, I am sure there are others, who have the same prob!

There are alot of conflicting stories out there, the most used one is,
"she posted the picture, she should have known.."
Doesn't help, I know but she can try some of the answers below-
I was thinking particularly of the outdated page info, that might work?

Apparently you can get off Street View, because you did not provide the picture.

Trying to get off of Google is pretty much impossible without help from various places like WhitePages, the options in Google Phonebook. writing letters (and often providing photo ID) to the various background check services, and on and on. It's a damn nightmare, and, once you delete information, any change in phone number, address, a new service you're paying for, the information can end right back up on there. As far as Facebook, you have SOME hope, but, she needs to delete that photo from her account, or, needs to delete her account entirely and wait for Facebook to wipe it from their servers. That can take a while of course, usually a couple of months at best.

If she, unwisely IMHO, decides to use the service again, she needs to make SURE she watches the options she clicks, and, for petes sake, it always has to be repeated, what she doesn't want seen, tell her not to post.

Everything that appears on the Internet is like written with pencil , no way to erase it.

I use Facebook because I was created a profile by a third party but I never share any personal information such as pictures , videos , information , status . I use it only to see other people's profiles and to chat with them . Facebook has nothing to do with privacy . I recommend you read this book and learn you and your friends not to share personal information in social networks where everybody can hack a profile and misuse the information provided
