The big three in my signature below and I would even throw in Avira on my other rig. They have served me well for nearly two years now...

    AppLocker.

I use default rules and Run as Admin for all new files (sometimes in Sandboxie). Currently, only have one custom rule. Effective and almost non-restrictive.

I will get hammered for this but here goes anyway.

Yes, i still find EQSysSecure totally configurable to the point of nearly not needing much more additional then an AV plus a behavioral blocker for good measure in spite of the nuclear defense arsenal that rests in my siggy below which i choose to rotate either at random or on a regular basis.

That keeps the new malware developers completely off balance :D

    Opera Browser!

Configured properly, no remote code execution exploit in the wild that I've seen gets through.

That leaves the social engineering exploits, and you don't need a security product to prevent against that!:

Somehow I doubt they're focusing their exploits specifically against you, Easter

Anyway.... Applocker, followed closely by SRP & Sandboxie as my favorite.

idk, this is THE easter, they quite possibly might be :p

and i have to say, minus the severe IO usage, ill say F-Secure AV is my new fav product. a very advanced AV, way beyond the basics

My vote goes to Dr Web AV.

Second is DynDNS blocking through my router.

Third is my Paragon imaging coupled with my 1.5TB HD.

Truly one of the best backup/restore apps. Too bad is so freakin' expensive (IMO) :thumbd: but it's worth the money after all... :thumb:
