    Windows 7 Professional 32-Bit (Snapshot)

OS Internals (no extra overhead or cost)
    • Baseline Security: (Win7SSLFDesktop / IE8SSLFComputer)
    • Safe Admin, manually installed (UAC Hardened, Autorun and Autoplay disabled.)
    • Software Restriction Policy (Disallowed: Set as default)
    • Windows FW setup 2-way [IN/OUTBOUND: Block]

    Realtime protection
    • Comodo Time Machine BETA (FREE)
    • Spyshelter FREE (Auto-block suspicious behaviour / Allow only Microsoft Certified files) (removed: not compatible with GeSWall)
    • GesWall FREE (just trying something... I might revert back to Spyshelter free)

    Tool:
    - ProcessExplorer
    - Spywareblaster (free) [Flash Killer for IE: enabled because Y!M will add Flash add-on automatically this will block it)
    - MS LocalGPO (for applying Baseline Security templates)

    1. Opera (Browser) GesWalled + Low-rights + EMET2 + Virtualized + built-in adblocker thru adblock.ini file (adblock list provided at http://fanboy.co.nz)
    2. BitTorrent and Yahoo! Messenger is GesWalled + Medium-rights + EMET2 + Virtualized
    3. Media Players GesWalled + Low rights + EMET2 + Restricted with Spyshelter + Virtualized
    4. All Download directories is in low rights and have a deny ACL to prevent low rights processes executing in low rights container
(downloaded low rights processes can't execute in medium / high rights directories)
    5. Locked down IE8 through Group Policy and FW for on-line banking + EMET2 + Restricted with Spyshelter

@Konata Izumi: GeSWall Freeware does not support Opera, Chat Messengers, Multimedia, etc. How you manage to run so many programs in GeSWall Free.

When I was installing and uninstalling security software, sometimes several a day, Online Armor was indeed driving me up a wall. If you want a project, try installing Acronis. I was up to somewhere around 150 clicks in different OA check-off boxes, at 3 boxes per pop-up window. I was about to give up on all 3rd party firewalls after that experience, but then I read that OA has an issue with Acronis. Now that my security software is pretty much set, and I'm not doing much other software installations, OA has been very quiet.

    GesWall Free does support Opera.

for the other programs you can set them up to work with GesWall by using the Application wizard. :thumb:

btw I removed GesWall... the built-in windows virtualization is probably enough. I need some kind of HIPS. Back to Spyshelter FREE. ^^

ROUTER: Linksys WRT54GS / Tomato / WPA2/ Norton DNS (I can dig Norton DNS other than the ASK.com search, but I can deal with that.) Norton DNS has helped my mother avoid some BS. She is rocking KIS (Current version) but once again, nothing detects everything.

    My computer:
    XP-SP3:

    Real-time:
ZoneAlarm Extreme Security (Super Scan, Scan When Reading and Writing, and added Scanning of Network Files.)
    ForceField On

NOTES: I love ZAES however whenever LFD1 or 2 (Left 4 Dead) crashes my COMP ForceField takes a dump on my computer basically requiring me to do a fresh install of FireFox. Not the end of the world, but annoying in the end.****

    On-Demand:
    A-Squared (On USB drive)
    SuperAntiSpyware
    Avira
    MalwareBytes AntiMalware

    Browser:
FireFox ( NoScript, WOT, ShowIP, along with various other "handy" stuff such as ForecastFox, FoxyTunes, Fire FTP, DownThemAll, ChatZilla.)
    Chrome
    Opera

    Other:
    Virtual Box
    Panda USB vaccine

**Need to get into talks with the folks at ZA.

Did you see any bug or problem?

In general what you think of good and bad in the N360?

    Thanks! :thumb:
