I'm sure they will be enabled for almost all testing builds, like they've always been (well, App Verifier was enabled only in 2011 beta, trcaes have been forever I think).

 

Even if CF2 fixes all the problems I do not know if I will go back to them. They should have not released software that buggy so soon.

 

Nope, some builds have it disabled. When it's closer to TR.
PURE R2 has or had it disabled in last build.

For what it is worth...The latest issue of Maximum PC has given Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 a "Kick Ass" ( 9 ) rating.

 

After some new CF2 builds there is now a RC: 11.0.2.556

Build 556 has been set as TR it seems. This is likely the last build from 2011 line, some remaining issues are going to be fixed via patches.
No idea when it will appear on the main website (shouldn't be too long).

 

its kind of dumb....but the new KIS build is refusing my KIS key...as not compatible ....i have 386 days of subscription left

 

556 still works with beta keys only. When the installer is posted on the main site it will accept it.

 

Critical Fix 2 (build 11.0.2.556) is now released, however at this time, there is only a Japenese version available at the main site:

CF 2 patch A is being beta tested and will fix only one bug:
The patch fixes bug 109152 - Firewall rules after restart return to default.

I think they are delaying intentionally and will release Patch 'a' too as Patch 'a' is in RC now.

I know it will be released as update. Patch 'a' fixes an important bug and KL does not want to annoy us again with buggy build.

I think I'll wait until patch A is released, not saving network rules is bad. KL will probably delay the official release of CF2 until the patch is released first.

Links are working. It's just a matter of desynchronized servers 'round the globe, you're accessing one that doesn't have the file yet. I've downloaded it from that link with no problems.

(and all this is a deja vu from beta devbuilds "link not working" )
