It was alright. Still a bit buggy. The My Community tab that shows your protection factor doesnt keep you logged in. The initial scan is extremely slow. The initial update is very slow. After that it gets pretty quick.

AGreed totally. I often see myself as logged out. On-demand scan is very slow. After first update update is OK. Rootkit scan dowsn't work. Realtime scan is good now.

What FW? And have you used PrevX SOL? How would you compare PrevX SOL to Sandboxie?

Why would you even try? They are two completely different types of software, conceptually different, aiming to achieve different things. They are not an either/or choice in any way.

Basically SOL sandboxes the browser just as Sandboxie would. Only difference is PrevX would warn on something while Sandboxie wouldnt and would delete sandbox contents on exit. Both prevent 0 day attacks browser side. Not sure how they are two completely different things if they both do the same thing, just in different ways.

No, you've misunderstood SOL. While SOL isolates the browser from keylogging, clipboard logging, screengrabbing and advanced financial malware, it does not sandbox it. All browser activity is written to your real system, unlike with Sandboxie, where it is redirected to the sandboxed area. You cannot 'flush the toilet' at the end of the browsing session with SOL, as you can with Sandboxie.

Equally Sandboxie does not specifically aim to prevent keylogging, clipboard logging and screengrabbing, though it can be configured in ways that can provide a degree of protection.

So, one is a sandbox, the other is a browser isolater, mainly designed to protect https sessions.

Thinking of changing Avira Premium with NAV 2011 in my set-up, which includes also Prevx 3.0 (SO off) and Defensewall PF 3.08. Any comments on conflicts?

Because the NIS 2011 switched by Prevx?

NIS 2011 is a suite of more powerful, do not see why change it.

Turned off Windows Defender. Online Armor is running with very few pop-ups now that I'm not installing much new software.

You probably got one or two pop ups when you installed MS High Priority Updates. And maybe you're getting some OASIS database update notifications. I don't mind the minimal amount I get from OA. I find them informative. But I don't get enough to drive me up a wall. :)
