    Hi MaxConners,

This article shows the best way to uninstall and I don't think you'll have to download anything at all.

    Have a nice day,

    Try this.

Right click the shortcut > Properties > Find Target

If there's no ESET folder in Program Files did you see this note in the article?

"NOTE: The uninstaller may remove the above folders automatically. If you are unable to find the folders after selecting Show hidden files and folders, the removal is complete."

f you don't contact Customer Care you may be having problems longer than one business day. They will need you to run scans and submit the logs so they can troubleshoot the issue.

You tried running the Uninstaller in Safe mode?

A virus (pig noise) is causing the problems. Customer Care will be able fix you up if you're a licensed user.

    Hello,

ESET's software does not install any additional sounds that I'm aware of, so it sounds like you have been infected by a malicious program masquerading as ESET's software.

ESET recently wrote up a blog article on this fake antivirus program, which you can read about in this ESET Threat Blog entry: Imitation is not always the sincerest form of flattery

As BFG suggested, the real ESET will be able to help you remove this fake program and collect additional information to allow them to track down the criminals behind this.

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky
