How to Scan E Mail

I have Windows XP and use Outlook Express for E Mail. How can I scan my E Mail before opening it. I use Avira anti virus.

I'm not a bellsouth user so I don't know for sure whether this will work specifically with them, but Mailwasher does work with most POP accounts and with Outloook Express:
