This thread is the most irresponsible security thread in the forum.
It provides a wealth of information in a single location by providing data that makes it possibe to target a large percentage of security products and users with minimal effort.

    All I use:
    Firewall
    Anti execute
    Sanboxie
    Back up image

What do you have that's a stronger solution than this?

    :D :ninja:

Personally? Running with the only 2 products left that have any validity on protection. Or should I say, the only 2 temp ones until i get weiner-slapped by the almighty Norton and venture there until a ripe old age of retirement.

I thought AVG free would be enough with DW real time.

However, when I noticed my PC had become significantly slower I installed MBAM which found about 30 different kinds of spyware and trojans.

Now I am keeping MBAM as on demand scanner. What else should I add?

Occasionaly I use Shadow Defender and Sandboxie, but SBIE lags terribly on my system. Since my main concern are keyloggers, I was thinking of adding SpyShelter or Zemana, and maybe Online Armor. I know there would be overlapping with DW (HIPS/firewall area), but I feel like I need something more.

    ATM, real time setup is:

    AVG Free
    DefenseWall 3.07
    PeerBlock

    On demand:

    MBAM
    Sandboxie
    Shadow Defender
    ShadowProtect

    Any thoughts?

How were you able to turn off features without getting the "FIX ALL" banner across the GUI?

Hover with mouse over text (for example Email Protection) and you will see Description for it, right bellow that you can choose Ignore.
    That's it.

Even when Comodo has to fulfill all of its potential it will still block legitimate files from your PC. There will always be major bugs in CIS since their so-call release versions are actually beta version in other words CIS is always in a perpetual beta state. Bugs are never actually fixed they just release a new buggy version :D.

    Anyway, I'm glad you have a different set-up. :D

    Thanks.

User of Trend Micro Titanium should be very careful. Currently, Trend Micro Titanium do not support cleanup of already infested systems. Therefore, if you get some malware, you are out of luck.

I uninstalled it.Why it allow by default inbound connections?I don't like that,to manually search and to block these.
Back to CIS without AV and NOD 32.
