    AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ (2.30 GHz dual-core) on main system.
Intel Atom D510 (1.66 GHz dual-core) on newer netbook.

Not a hardcore gamer, so there's little point in increasing it.

This PC has a Pentium 4, 2.4GHZ. It's plenty fast enough for what I do. At times, I wouldn't mind some more RAM, usually when running virtual systems, Maybe a better video card for the one game I enjoy. For everything else, it's more than sufficient.

My other PC, which is for general work and internet use, (not gaming or streaming video) is a Celeron, 366MHZ. For its intended purposes, it gets the job done just fine.

It doesn't take that much processor power or RAM to make a good work PC, but to be a good toy it takes a lot more. Compared to most other things in this world, this is backwards.

I've got a little i3 530 running at 2.93GHz. It may seem puny to some, but darned if the little fella doesn't run pretty nice for me.
