They share signatures but that doesn't mean that they use the same signatures

 

Malware definitions are more or less the same between the two. Heuristic, generic and proactive detections differ between PC Tools and Norton/Symantec.

 

I pretty much consider PCTools products dead for some reason xD

Yes the beta is the proof... I think PC tools have improved much in the last year...

 

They went for other more Reliable products...
