I have tried 3 different times to get the 64-bit EAVH installer - 3 times, 3 machines, 2 linux servers, and my personal desktop - each download has been the older version.

My script grabs all home user editions of both EAV and ESS - oddly, I have two different 32-bit EAVH downloads, but both have Content Created date of june 2006 when I look at the msi info - now that's OBVIOUSLY wrong.

    Hello Richard,

May I suggest something: better internal communication at ESET, and notifying the Web Team *before* and not *after* an update/upgrade.

    Regards,
    FanJ

Looks like the Business Edition has been updated. I've downloaded 32-bit and x64 Business Editions of 4.2.64.12.

Don't have a clue who made this HUGE mistake, but 7½ hours after announcing a new version release, it still isn't available. Shame on y'all!

I wonder if there's a "various other fixes" missing from the changelog? If there isn't then I cannot actually see anything in there that's of interest to my 100+ users, so I shall probably bypass this release altogether!

As of 5 minutes ago, the UK site has not been updated. Marcos, your link worked fine for me - installed over the existing .58 version perfectly, and T.Bird 3.1 integration now works. Thanks.

download.eset.com is the link I always use, as I've had the same problem in the past - UK site being very slow to get updated. The .com site is normally okay though.

Will this update fix the major issue of Windows Vista SP2 32bit BSOD when installing Windows Updates?

If not, when can we expect a fix?

    Thanks

Some people have already confirmed that BSOD no longer occurred after installing the latest build.

A lot of people always complaint about the "high" memory usage of ESET NOD32. Although it is one of the lightest programs available. The peak memory usage is very low, hardly higher than the idle memory usage (from 48 to 60); and the total memory usage (both virtual and physical) was the lowest.

But since this update it takes less physical RAM in idle, good to see.
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4.2 Dutch.
ESET GUI was using 3.5MB, and it still is.
ESET Service was using 48MB, and now it is at 38MB.

I lost count on how many I've seen. Norton and MSE PCs are just fine.

    Hello Skywolfe,

New builds, also referred to as Program Component Updates (PCU), are not pushed out to customers like the Virus Signature Database Updates are. For more information please see the following Knowledgebase article:
    http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2256

    Thank you,
    Richard
