No That was a Lavasoft request (for the Ad-Aware Plus promo) and there was nothing we could do about that.

Grab the code and hold on to it. One code per email address though.

So is it possible to download BD now and trial it a couple days then enter the promo code once we get it in email? Or will the download for this promo be different/tweaked than the BD site's antivirus?

 

No, use the build we provide on Friday (that BitDefender gave us yesterday). It's the regular full build, but it has been designed to work with this promo/codes. However, you can download and install anytime and it will update to 2011, on release next week.

Also, it's something like <200Kb, designed to download the relevant components from the BD server.
