So what is every ones thoughts on this suite? Is it any good? So far on this brand new machine it has already detected a FP via it's behavior blocker but other then that I can not tell it is there. Is this any good?

Well then I hope the behavior blocker is good because it seems like they do not use a white list? So far I have gotten alerts on Asus files and Yahoo messenger files.

Good Evening ! I tried both Trend Micro Internet Security...and Pro Version earlier this year. Essentially the product provides decent protection and it's Gui is straightforward and intuitive. It really didn't nab or detect anything other than sundry cookies. And it's pricing is simply out of whack...with the competitive market. Their's the odd ten per-cent discount given by third party internet coupon vendors...and at Xmas there's usually a meaningful half price sale. But as everyone knows they have to improve their product and detection rates. The last two tests at A/V Comparatives...were quite frankly brutally embarrassing for Trend. You can as everyone knows put together excellent protection for your P.C. for absolutely nothing...now a days. If you have a strong allegiance towards Trend you might want to wait for their new Cloud based Titanium line of security products. The operative word is wait ! Sincerely...Securon

    Cons: Average detection.
    Pros:
    1. Excellent support.
    2. Excellent and easy to use interface.
    3. Best Web Protection.
    4. IS offers some optional HIPS.

As I always said, i am looking forward its dynamic tests.

The new beta roxx IMO. Has been lighter than the earlier versions and the detection seems way better now with cloud technology incorporated :thumb:

Signature detection may be not so good as kaspersky or others, but trend micro surely provides the best web protection. It blocks many threats with the url blocker.

Where can I find trend micro 2011?

I think that the new trend micro products will be called "Titanium".
At the moment, only titanium for netbooks has been released, but the "Trend micro titanium maximum security" is in beta 4.
But I can't find it at beta portal page.

I have read the thread and did not help me to find a link for titanium beta.
Do you have something in mind?

Also what are the differences between trend micro titanium for netbooks and "maximum security"? The most significant at least

Good Morning ! Flik...Went to Trend Micro's site and went to the Beta Portal and it appears the Titanium Beta testing must of expired, and the release candidate should be available very shortly. I can see where you had difficulty locating it because it's been removed. The Titanium product like all Cloud based product should run very lightly on your P.C. and it's detection rates should be greatly improved. In Trend Micro's case the detection rates and overall effectiveness of the product are of crucial importance. After the two testings at A/V Comparatives they have to establish a sense of quality, and effectiveness in the product if they hope to improve their market share. And in these times the pricing has too be competitive. If Trend Micro's Marketing Dept are on the ball...this competitive pricing should manifest itself in the release of the new Titanium product line. Sincerely...Securon

Good Evening ! Namor...Titanium for netbooks has been available for at least two months...but the Beta is for Titanium that have its own product line...or perhaps Trend will have it either replace or run in parallel with the existing Home line for P.C.'s. Something should be conveyed to the public shortly. Sincerely... Securon
