back in the day, one of my fave add-ons for netscape navigator was a little program called "flying toolbars" http://www.inquare.com/ftb/index.phtml

what it did, was to hide the browser's main toolbar up top, so that you got fullscreen browsing. when you moved the mouse up top, the toolbar appeared again, letting you navigate and whatnot. obviously this was different than having to toggle a hotkey back and forth for fullscreen. i wonder if such functionality could be implemented for today's browsers, as it was quite cool.

    thoughts?

Usually directed towards developers as a "feature request" - your best bet. Rule one - post where your voice'll be heard.

With Firefox, F11 is not only a fullscreen toggle hotkey, when in full screen mode moving the mouse up top causes the navigation toolbar to reappear.

This might ease the pain with Opera - last reference January this year. Useful, stylish stuff over on userstyles.org. ;) Good tip Pegr.
