Interesting Test -- Norton Impresses Me

Thanks for writing this up. Since the release of original SONAR and Insight, I have seen numerous people confusing the two.

 

Based on the information provided, can anyone now tell if they are seeing false positives in SONAR ? or Norton Insight.

Also, keep in mind that both systems are constantly re-tuning themselves by the minute, so any FPs you saw last september when these features were first released, should no longer be visible.

Lastly, it would be helpful to mention the name of the application on which the FP was observed.

I used to see some FP in the past, but no longer. what i do see is malicious files which are rated as 'good' by insight. can I fix the rating somehow?

Overall, I like the new features and going to purchase norton soon

As zombini indicated, I am not aware of any way for the user to change the rating.
