    Hey thanks icr..:p
Lol, that's the problem of being unprofessional.. I will try to find out the version number at last... Mostly I have used the latest build. But sometimes I used the beta, portable scanner and online scanner. I have mentioned those in the Updates.

    Nice results :)
You say you tested 'panda' but do you mean the traditional AV like Panda Antivirus 2010 or Panda Cloud AV?
Also could you please test Kaspersky 2011, as Kaspersky Virus Removal tool still uses the 2010 core.

I used traditional Panda AV which also uses cloud during scanning.
I am very sorry but i don't think I will be able to test Kaspersky 2011 as still I have to test a lots of AV...:doubt:

Antiy, Iolo and Authentium tested. I used Antiy Ghostbuster, Iolo System Shield AV and Command Antimalware. Authentium seems to use some other engine along with F-Prot. It performed way better.

Well Avira kicked Blue Point on the 500 samples and almost on the 5000.:thumb:

Well kudos to Blue Point as this adds, some, validity to their own tests, and, it proves Avira is still as strong as it always was.

sg09, hats off for your effort. The malware may be old but the reality is, it may be one of the most accurate tests yet.

@trjam: Thanks..:D Is that my test that let you change your Avatar..;)

@jmonge: All results are summed up here. I will arrange the results after completion.

    @Yanix: lol :p

MSE and Comodo added. I have tested the latest stable build of MSE.

    Hello Sujay,

Mind if you add norton v2010 to your test:)

And BTW Hitman Pro didn't perform well as expected:cautious:

    @Sujay

The post made by a member here regarding Twister AV videos, Well I didn't understand the video coz whatever links Brad(bradtechonline) punched in his browser it didn't got caught it just notified him that a file is being downloaded and needed the permission of the user to write(copy the file to the desktop) nothing else. Twister didn't detect as a threat just a HIPS behavior(Similar to MD). I guess you understood what I am trying to say:)

As expected!! Was it performed bad elsewhere?

About that twister test, I understood that it blocked all of them for not having digital signature. But I am in doubt if Twister's real time detection is on-execution... I have not tested its real time detection..:(

And yes Norton will come soon..:)

What's all the ruckus about? :argh:
Mind testing Paretologic (Kaspersky) and eAcceleration (Nictatech) AVs? It's just interesting to see different results from vendors using the same engine. :D

    The Hacker: -[removed by me]-
    eSafe: -www.aladdin.com/esafe/anti-virus.aspx-

You need to register to get 30-day trial for eSafe.

    Thanks.

    PS: Zillya AV also?

eacceleration, is it legitimate? I saw it is blacklisted in hphosts. Also my Emsisoft blocked that site. Red alert at WOT.
    Paretologic also...

Thanks for The Hacker link. Is it a trial?
eSafe, stopped distributing AV. I tried to register.

Zillya.. Does it have its own engine? According to this

    I will test it..:)

I removed the link for The Hacker, just saw icr's reply from Hacksoft support. I don't know if it's trial.

As for Paretologic and eAcceleration I don't think they're rogues.

Thanks..:) Both of them use kaspersky engine? or just share database?

Paretologic uses Kaspersky's. eAcceleration formerly uses DrWeb's, now I think they use Nictatech's (Digital Patrol).

I found a link to register for The Hacker Exchange. Is that ok?

No, I think it's a 30-day trial. But never mind, I don't think they have an English version.

The best member to ask is quanzi_1507 or Firecat.
