I'm hoping that a mod can assist me with this one so I don't have to bother ESET support. Chances are, they wouldn't know anyways.

I'm running the nightly build of Firefox for testing, and I would like to enable SSL protocol filtering on my computer. The problem is that ESET doesn't know the browser "Minefield" aka Firefox Nightly Build.

Is there a process where I can import a ESET cert into my browser manually? I know where to go in Firefox to do this, but I need to obtain the cert first, and I can't seem to find it in the ESET directory.

Never mind. I got it figured out. Even though I imported the ESET certificate from Trust Root CA from Microsoft Certificate Manager, I found out that you need to go into edit the imported settings, and edit the trust in a few locations. Once that was done, Firefox moved the certificate from the Servers cert, to the Authoritative Cert.

The problem is Minefield does not install, it's distributed in an archive that the user extracts. Once Mozilla makes an installation package, the ESET root certificate should be imported automatically.

Yeah, I figured as much. At least I was able to know how to manually import the certificate. It just tricked me into thinking it was automatically trusted as soon as I installed the cert when actuality it's in block mode.
