Not all that experienced, been reading here a few days and just trying to be safer.

    Currently Running:

AV - KAV 9.0 (expires relatively soon, not sure what I will do but I have no problems with KAV)
    FW - Online Armor (free)

    On Demand:

Malwarebytes (free) soon to be paid
    SuperAntiSpyware (free)

I am by no means a power user. Put bluntly I might be the most ignorant member here when it comes to security. All that I use is very recent. Up until about a week ago I used Zone Alarm free and Avira (which just has to many FP for my taste)

I added Malwarebytes and SAS along with OA after reading here for what seems like hours upon hours. Cannot thank you folks enough for this site and the knowledge you possess. Anything I might need to consider please feel free to let me know.

I'd keep it simple and just add Sandboxie.

i put all my security arsenal to the test;) ;) againts a RootKit call sfz.exe:D
    tested prevx,blue point security,mbam pro,superantispyware,hitman pro,appranger and PE Guard 2.1:thumb: :thumb:
AppRanger fail to detect it:thumbd: ,SaS :thumbd: ,mbam Pro:thumbd: ,BpS:thumbd:
    prevx:thumb: ,hitman pro:thumb: PE Guard:thumb:
with Pe Guard was nice to see that the rootkit tried to install/load other files(malware)prompted me and just hit terminate the activity:thumb: very impresive PE Guard has alot of potential and really blocks any rootkits behabiour in real time:thumb: :thumb:

Any hint on what tomorrow's new setup will be? ;) :p

    My new setup is:
    Avira (real-time)
    Avast (real-time)
    ThreatFire (real-time)
    Mamutu (real-time)
    Prevx (paid real-time)
    Hitman Pro (paid)
    Microsoft Security Essentials (real-time)
Zemana (keyloggers, got no chance with me!)
Sandboxie (gotta be safe these days)
    DefenseWall (everything set to untrusted)

Running smooth as a baby's behind. 10 minute bootup, few freezes every couple of minutes, lots of alerts to keep me distracted and occupied, get no work done, I mean can't open a document without everything going crazy, but man I feel safe. :thumb:

Actually, just running Mamutu, MSE and Sandboxie.

Windows XP Pro sp3 32 bit.

    Realtime

    KIS 2011
    DefenseWall 3.03 paid
    PE Guard 2.1 paid.
    Win Patrol Pro paid
    Keyscrambler paid

    On Demand

Hit Man Pro ( scan on boot up)
    MBAM (infrequent full scan)

Windows XP Pro sp3 32 bit.

Been running smooth but is there any overkill, particularly DefenseWall and PE Guard, the DefenseWall license expires in September.
