Never really heard of or tested PE Guard. Glad it's working for you though.

Question: Does KeyScrambler Free work with Chrome, or only IE and FF?

    hi kerodo:)
A free browser add-on, KeyScrambler Personal protects all your inputs in IE, Firefox, and Flock. KeyScrambler Pro and Premium are paid programs that protect a wide array of apps.
i gues no google chrome or iron yet:)

Nope, not yet. I am just playing with various ideas lately, but haven't really settled on any one solution yet. I am pretty much a minimalist and prefer using as little software as possible for security purposes.

Going to take CIS 4.1 for a ride. I'm resisting the urge to download KIS 2011. Anyone have any experiance w/ Geswall and CIS?

tried out 2 things, tested out v5 of EMSIsoft AM and i liked it, but it slowed down the system more than avast, so i removed it and kept avast.

also tried out Spyshelter and wow they need some sort of a whitelist cuz the amount of popups i got about just 1 driver made me want to shoot myself, i got well over a dozen popups about ONE driver... its worse than any HIPS ive ever used wen it comes to spam...

    hi,
I have Windows Vista and I always login as Administration user.
Now I'm using Mcafee Total Protection, its working faster then previous version, but still make small lags sometimes. And I think i will buy their subscription again.

But I have checked some tests f.e. av-comparatives, and reviews and now i'm not sure if Mcafee is very good.:doubt:

Is Microsoft MSE better? I read that it require less cpu and memory. But which of them protect better?

I don't trust free antiviruses but MSE is like a part or extension of Windows so its not total free..

Running CIS complete 4.1. I must say it runs really fast. I'm not sure if running OA++ and geswall got me used to slow running apps. Still learning all the settings and options. Have it set to paranoid for D+ and Custum policy for firewall. I have th AV on stateful w/ High heirutics. It did pick up NICconfig.exe as a virus. Sent that right off as a FP. So far so good. I'm not changing my sig yet. Don't want to be too premature ;)

Do you always use Power Mode (maxed setting) or do you prefer and use any other profile? Would be nice to know :)
