You can take 1 whole year to fix it. No need to be in hurry. Take your time. :D

You didn't get me i guess. I just want them to take some rest. They've already done a great job. I want them to ignore this bug for a while...Everyone here can live with this bug. Nobody is going to be affected with this bug... People at Panda Labs are also human being, they need some rest. :D

So i request all you Panda lovers to forgive them for this bug...:p

How much bandwidth does Panda Cloud use? Up to 5 kb/sec? Up to 50 kb/sec? :doubt:

PSANHost.exe is the main process running with Panda Cloud and mine will vary from 5,000 to 10,000K when relatively idol and will jump to near 20,000K with heavy browsing or activity, not bad at all. Prevx seems to stay pretty steady at 12,000K here...:)

On average based on our monitoring only about 157kb per day.

Of course this average assumes all users, ie many basic users that rarely use on-demand scans and few heavy-duty users that perform many on-demand scans.

Compressed signatures (or any text file) can be really small, almost negligible.
Try counting how many characters there is in an 1-mb .txt file. Then archive it.

This is an observation re: behaviour blocking with PCAV 1.1.

I understand the principles behind it, but I think novice users may struggle with some items that get blocked.

For example, when updating Foxit Reader from within the program, the update isn't completed because the executable is blocked as per rule 5012. The explanation for this is:
I understand the logic here, but surely an update from within the program shouldn't be blocked.

As I see it, the only way round that is to either disable behaviour blocking or download the installer from the website, which works.

    Any comments?

@TonyW, this is the problem with BB. You may get FP. But PDF exploits do the same thing.

This is actually a known issue with the BB which will get fixed (among a couple of other similar ones) in the next autofix. The autofixes get pushed out automatically and transparently, so no need to watch out for a new version.

How will this be fixed without compromising the protection afforded by the BB?

There's plenty of people who've used it in a variety of devices successfully (camaras, mp3, etc.) but we haven't tested it against all types of devices to confirm it.

There are however some people who have reported it "breaking" the functionality of certain special camaras or mp3. By "breaking" they mean that the program designed to execute when connecting the device to the PC (for ex, a photo copying/editing software in a camara) stopped executing automatically when connecting the device to the PC. However you can still execute that program manually by browsing the device's external memory and clicking on the program executable.

Sorry this is slightly of topic but does Panda Cloud free and pro play nicely with Comodo Firewall. I thought with Sandbox enabled this would be a good secure setup?

    Cheers
